HBA Sponsors Keystone Rugby

Keith McLean and HBA are proud to sponsor the Keystone Rugby Club. When the women's rugby club requested assistance for the purchase of equipment for practice, HBA gladly obliged.

Keith McLean is a long time rugby player and supporter. Famous for his forearm shimmy, Keith started playing rugby at West Virginia in College. He presently plays for Philadelphia-Whitemarsh and has been associated with the club since 1987. Keith has won numerous accolades in rugby including captaining the 1999 national champion Philly-Whitemarsh 7s team. Keith has also played 18 times for the prestigious Team America, a selected group of over 33 years of age national players.

Keystone Rugby Club is located in the Greater Philadelphia region. The team is comprised of players from central PA to New Jersey. Though Keystone encourages and welcomes players of all skill levels, the Griffins are known for developing talented athletes. Over half of their players have played select side rugby including national team players, former national U-23 players, and local All-stars.

HBA is proud to sponsor the Keystone Women's Rugby Club.

Keith's commitment to rugby has led him to give back to the rugby community. When some of the Keystone administrators approached Keith for support, Keith didn't hesitate. HBA is proud to help the Griffins purchase equipment for their field and game preparation. Over the past few years, HBA has purchased winter training facility time, a scrum machine and playing jerseys for the Keystone women.
